Aid-2-India International works to bring assistance and aid when natural disasters strike. We aim to encourage and foster the need to work together in a local community that is often in a state of shock. We strive to make advancements for the common good in the community, showing no regard to background, educational levels, or religion. We train and encourage young people to help in the distribution of supplies of aid that are available to us. We often buy supplies locally, thereby encouraging the local economy.

We can only do this with the help of our partners and individuals that are willing to help.
The pictures show the aftermath of the Tsunami on Boxing Day 2004 and the assistance that we were able to offer to people who lived along the coast of Tamil Nadu.
There are many heart-rending stories of individual loss and misery. One elderly fisherman told how his whole family had been lost in the Tsunami disaster that hit their village.

This type of relief work needs to keep going long after it has stopped hitting the newspaper headlines.
We encourage our young people to play a useful role not just in the distribution of aid but also in talking to people and helping them to come to terms with what has happened. They also assist in re-building homes and the local industries to enable people to regain their dignity and economic sufficiency.
