Aid-2-India International works with local communities in many regions across India. Aid-2-India International was able to take aid to Gurjarat after the major earthquake. We were also involved in taking aid to Andra Pradesh after extensive flooding and are currently making efforts working with the survivors of the Tsunami along the coast of Tamil Nadu.

Aid-2-India International respects the local knowledge and culture of the community it serves. By providing assistance to the local community it enables ordinary people to take a measure of control of their local situation through training, education, and the provision of aid. Aid-2-India International always gives the local communities and their leaders a role in the decision making process of where funds are needed most.

It is always tremendously rewarding to see the difference made when our young staff works together with the elders of a village, combining their youthful energy with the wisdom of experience.
